Kuvaus
Body-Focused Therapy is an expanded form of cognitive behavioral therapy. A wide repertoire of techniques concerning the body is used. Patients are helped to change, in an interrelated manner, both patterns of thinking and patterns of how they sense and organize their bodies. Related techniques for mindfulness and for mentalization capacities also play a role. The method can be done with both adults and children.

This training is open to psychotherapists with studies in Basics in Psychophysical Psychotherapy or corresponding knowledge of body-oriented psychotherapy.

- 50 hours of peer group work between seminars
- 50 hours of supervision of two patients for at least one year
- 40 hours of own therapy in psychophysical psychotherapy
- writing an article (16 pages)
- literature consisting of 3000 page

The first day of every period will be held from 10 am to 5 pm, the following days from 9 am to 4 pm.
Throughout the studies there will be an ongoing learning of theory and practise in development, transference and countertransference, mentalisation and mindfulness.
